Had a blast crafting with my girls last night.  We decided it was time to start on the Halloween projects.  If you know me, then you know that Halloween is my favorite holiday of the year.  And if I get a chance to I go all out with the decorations.  Well, last night we decided to makes witches and a toilet peeper.

For the witches we decided to add a little learning to the process.  They cut out the basic shapes of a circle, rectangle, square and a triangle.  Put it all together and have Mom help with the hair, and viola!  Probably the cutest witches around!

I think our toilet peeper they had the most fun with.  I had each of them cut out one eye and 3 ovals for the fingers.  After they were done cutting everything out they glued him together and we taped him to the toilet.  Just remember, he's watching you!

I don't think I have ever seen my girls so happy to craft in their life.  They not only had a blast but they are now excited for this weekend when we make our bats, ghosts, skeletons, and Frankensteins!

Happy Crafting!

Hello!

Hello and welcome to my blog!  My name is Sammie and I'm excited to be here!  I'm 26 years old and the founder and creator of Sammie K Creations.

In this blog you will find many things.  From pictures of some of the things I have created, items for sale, to just plain blogging.  I have been crafting since I was little when my mother first taught me to crochet and cross stitch.  I have been slowly learning to craft other things throughout my life.  Now I am actively involved in crochet, cross stitch, plastic canvas, sewing and the knitting loom.  I have also begun to create my own patterns.  Aside from the crafting I also enjoy photography as well.  Soon enough, I will have everything listed, from products and services to prices.

Now to tell you a little more about me.  I'm a very laid back person and love to hang out doing just about anything.  In my spare time, I enjoy cleaning the house, doing laundry and dishes, reading, crafting, dancing and bullshitting.  I'm currently attending ITT Technical Institute working my way toward my Associates of Applied Science in Information Systems Administration.  I hope to one day be able to work in the IT field.  A field I have loved and been good at for a long time.  I also hope to extend my at home business of Sammie K Creations.  I hope to one day go back to being a stay at home mom enjoying my time with my children and family all while working from the comforts of home.

Please feel free to ask any questions you would like. I am an open book.  But for now, I am off.  I hope you all have a wonderful day and keep smiling!

XOXO
